Cookie Policy

For visitors, the Site does not set cookies of its own and does not use local storage or similar technologies to track you. It runs no analytics, advertising, social-media or session-recording tools, and it embeds no third-party content — such as videos or maps — that would set cookies. The contact form stores nothing on your device.

Authorised ESG ACCESS Africa staff publish news through an editor at /admin, signing in with GitHub. Only when someone signs in there, the Site sets one short-lived cookie (up to 10 minutes) to protect the sign-in against forgery, and the editor keeps the sign-in and its settings in that browser’s local storage until the person signs out. This is strictly necessary for the sign-in, applies to nobody who only visits the Site, and is not used to track anyone.

The Site is delivered by Cloudflare, our hosting and content-delivery provider. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies in specific circumstances — for example to distinguish genuine visitors from automated traffic when protecting the Site. Such cookies are required for security, are not used to identify or profile you, and do not require your consent.

Because the Site uses no optional cookies — analytics, functional or marketing — it does not display a cookie banner. If that changes, we will ask for your consent before any optional cookie is set and update this policy.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect the security features that protect the Site.

External websites linked from the Site set their own cookies under their own policies, which we do not control.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its date, is always published on this page.
